French buffet, 19th C. Built of oak, a single drawer sits over double paneled cupboard doors that feature iron fiche hinges. The simple design and minimal decoration highlight the unique grain of the wide planks used in the construction. The original iron escutcheon with key, along with the hinges and fan carving at the lightly scalloped base provide subtle but elegant details that enhance the craftsmanship.
 
Buffet is in excellent condition considering its age. The doors and drawers are working. The finish has dulled. We offer a light restoration and waxing included upon purchase.
